A Day in Palm Springs
We cashed in some of our miles and went to visit my brother-in-laws in California. We got to spend 24 hours in Palm Springs!
It's been so quiet on here, guys. Jon and I have been knee deep in paperwork and focusing on our adoption. We were thankful to be able to take some time and get away. We cashed in our miles and went to see my brother-in-laws in LA. My sister and her husband joined and we saw Colin Hay in concert (more on that part of our trip coming soon).
We had about 24 hours to spend in Palm Springs. It was hard to narrow down what we would have time for, but we packed a lot in. You may be thinking.... how did they do all this in 24 hours?! Ha. Everything is pretty close to each other so I mapped out our stops before getting there. We were on a mission.
EAT + DRINK
Azucar. We stopped here for drinks and appetizers. It was delicious and GORGEOUS. Love me some Frida. Be sure to check out the rooftop.
King's Highway. We had breakfast here after finishing up the door tour. My kind of breakfast! Incredible!
Draughtman. Located at ARRIVE hotel + super hip. Great place for a refreshing drink to beat the heat.
The Shoppe. Milkshake for the trip back to LA? Don't mind if I do.
OUR STAY: PARKER PALM SPRINGS.
This resort is incredible. Yummy food, beverages, pools, spa + game areas! We had so many things to check out in Palm Springs but I hope we can hang out here more in the future.
Lemonade Stand. This was our first stop when arriving. Cold drinks for a hot day... and extra bougie if you are hanging out by the pool.
Mister Parker's . Before dinner cocktails. It is Dark + Swanky.
Norma's. Fish Tacos for dinner? Yes, Ma'am!
It was also the perfect place to try out Coco Floss ... flossing has never been so fun or taste so good. Lovin' all of their flavors. Had a blast working with them!
